Original Work
Priyanka’s eclectic body of original work spans genres, forms, and disciplines - exploring identity, belonging, and the sociopolitical landscapes we inhabit. Her Triptych of Solos features three powerful solo plays — The Elephant in the Room, #CHARLOTTESVILLE, and The Wall — that together chart a deeply personal and political journey through culture, race, and resistance. Her farce Marjorie is Dead dives into the absurd with sharp humor and wit, while her latest multidisciplinary piece AJJI weaves together puppetry, magic, live music, ritual, and dance to create an immersive, genre-defying theatrical experience. She is also expanding her storytelling into screenwriting with a heartfelt comedic-drama that continues her exploration of unlikely relationships, cultural collision, and the humor that emerges from lives in transition.
